Going Greener 2010

In 2007, I began using reusable bags and CFLs.

In 2008, I started using rechargeable batteries.

This year, I am banning plastic sandwich bags, cling wrap, sponges, and panti-liners. Just ordered a few cute things from reusablebags.com. Got a snack taxi and some stainless steel containers to put leftovers in. Going to get some dish brushes from IKEA and ditch the sponges. If you are interested in how I am getting rid of panti-liners, you can just email on that one

The exact opposite of Nicola Roberts

I really hate this continuing plastic surgery trend where it is simply not okay to be yourself and embrace your natural body. Heidi Montag recently got an estimated $30,000 in plastic surgery, including pining her ears back (wtf!?), DDD breast implants, new chin, and eyebrow lift. Listen people, she is only 23 years old! This makes me sick. She looks really stupid and ridiculous. She was pretty before! What an idiot. I also hate that she says that GOD said it was okay. What a joke. She gives women and religious people a bad name. This is what is wrong in the name of beauty.

Nicola Roberts is awesome

She is planning a documentary about how tanning beds and tanning is really unhealthy and dangerous. I think Nicola is a great role model because she looks so much more beautiful now that she has embraced her skin color. Thank you, Ms. Roberts.

My boyfriend is so smart

My vacuum cleaner was not sucking. He fixed the agitator brush by creating a little piece of paper to stick in the area where it was loose. How simple but also how smart?!

You know what I hate?

When friends suggest going to Disneyland and then I get really excited at the idea. Then they say, “yeah, we can get really drunk first and then go”. I do not want to be drunk at Disneyland, there is enough stimulus there and that would retard the experience. Sigh.
