When the Felicity movie, Felicity - An American Girl Adventure was released in 2005, a new doll was also released. This doll was Felicity's best friend, Elizabeth. For whatever reason, American Girl decided to make the doll a blonde. Elizabeth was originally drawn a brunette. Instead of hiring an artist to re-do the illustrations, they simply changed the illustrations of Elizabeth to make her a blonde! I'll show the brunette version of Elizabeth from Felicity's Surprise and the blonde version of Elizabeth. Both illustrations by Dan Andreasen.
