birthday celebrations
At American Girl Place each year there are special days devoted to each historical character's birthday. There is one day each for Kaya, Felicity, Josefina, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha, Rebecca, Kit, Molly, and Julie. The event is supposed to make you feel like you've stepped back in time--right into that character's special day. No reservations are required, however there are special tea parties in the cafe which you can make reservations for. Each year the birthday is held on a date that is close to or exactly on the day of the girl's birthdays.

Kaya Kaya-Nez Perce Indians don't celebrate birthdays but they have a special celebration for Kaya at AG Place in August.
